Far too often I have heard someone say after a round of golf that they are now "sore" or 'in pain". It can be something as simple as an aching finger to a more debilitating re-occuring problem like a back, shoulder or leg strain. One of the keys to reducing this risk of injury or pain is a series of low impact stretches and exercises.
Please Note: All customers will be asked to sign a short waiver before using any fitness equipment and performing these light exercises.
Every one hour golf session here at Oceanside Golf Services starts with a 15 minute light warm and stretching routine. We start with 5 minutes on elyptical and then spend 10 minutes on various low impact stretching drills. Dynabands, towels and lightweight bars are used. All of these exercises can then be performed on your own at home, the golf course or at the driving range.
Warmed up, relaxed and now stretched, we can begin our session outdoors at The Golf Studio. On sunny warmer days we can go right from the fitness room after our 5 minutes on the elyptical and do our 10 minutes of stretching and exercise outside if you like.
